The Art of the Table — A Creative Immersion in Tuscany

In the hills between Siena and Castelnuovo Berardenga, a 14th-century Carthusian monastery has been converted into a residential retreat, and for eight days each November, Art Immersions turns it into a working studio built entirely around the table. Each day explores a different layer of it: the garden, the kitchen, the cellar, the craft, the feast. Guests move through cooking ateliers, wine sessions, still-life drawing, olive oil tastings, and ceramics, around long shared meals ten minutes from Siena and ninety from Florence. Hosted by Catherine Richards, M.Arch - designer, artist, Parsons professor, founder of Art Immersions. Includes 7 nights at the historic Tuscan villa, daily creative workshops and culinary ateliers, 2 private cooking classes with the villa's chef, a Tuscan wine tasting, an olive oil tasting/harvest experience, still-life drawing and food illustration, a day trip to Siena plus one more excursion, and group meals, aperitivo and long shared dinners. Flights and transportation not included.
