Eight guests. One island. A week you'll carry with you forever. On the quiet northern shore of Aegina - a 40-minute ferry from Athens - award-winning New Zealand artist Sue MacDougall runs an intimate art retreat built on twenty years of calling this island home. Mornings center on guided art workshops - on the beach, among ancient ruins, in village streets - led by Sue herself, with all materials provided and all levels welcome. Optional yoga runs daily 8:30-9am in The Pearl Yurt with certified instructor Sandra Rouch. Between sessions: the Temple of Aphaia, the Kolona archaeological site, Byzantine churches, the Archaeological Museum, the Tower of Markellos, and Aegina's pistachio orchards, with evenings bringing authentic Greek dining at local tavernas. Includes 7 or 4 nights at The Beachhouse Apartments (private kitchen/bathroom, A/C, daily housekeeping), all art workshops and materials, daily breakfast plus main meal with drinks, optional morning yoga, guided excursions, airport/port transfers, and welcome and farewell dinners. Excludes international flights to Athens.
